When I set out to make the best wallbed available, I wanted it to do two things: sleep like a normal bed and look extraordinary. By using a commercial-grade lift system, the opportunity opened to make a bedframe that would otherwise be too heavy. And yet the bed is lifted easily with just one hand.
I usually provide a custom mattress fitted with an organic cotton cover.
